Flat tire repair

The leak is found, patched from the inside and tested before the wheel goes back on.

A nail or a screw in the tread doesn't always mean a new tire. The tire comes off the rim, the hole gets patched from the inside, and soapy water goes over the repair to show the leak is gone.

If the damage is in the sidewall or too big to patch, you'll be told straight, and a new tire can go on instead.

When you call, have this ready

  • Where the car is
  • Which tire, and whether it's flat or slowly losing air
  • The tire size printed on the sidewall, if you can see it
